Christopher Andrew-Marc Brown is the Programme Manager for the Boosting Innovation, Growth and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem (BIGEE) at the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ). He is an open-minded, creative thinker who enables thoughtful discussions around solutions that drives the development of entrepreneurship in Jamaica. In his role at the DBJ, he is responsible for designing programmes to drive the adoption of innovation to drive private sector led growth for Micro, Small and Medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Christopher has over 10 years experience in private sector development working on Government programmes funded by international development partners such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the European Union and the World Bank in the areas of MSME development and energy sustainability projects.

Herbert Hall is an Investment Banking Consultant with over twenty years experience in the finance field. He specializes in debt refinancing, debt restructuring, capital raises (debt, quasi equity and equity), mergers and acquisitions as well as off balance sheet financing. In his prior assignments, Mr. Hall served as the Head of Investment Banking for Jamaica and the Northern Caribbean for one of the Caribbean’s leading investment banking houses. He is a trained economist and held the post of Monetary Economist with the Central Bank of Jamaica.

Mr. Hall has been at the forefront of structuring and arranging some of the Caribbean’s largest and most complex capital market deals including equity transactions

such as (a) the historic sale of the Government of Jamaica’s majority shares in the country’s first toll road via the largest public offering, (b) the initial public offering of one of Jamaica’s leading manufacturer and distributor of food and beverage products (c) the secondary offer and cross listing of the Caribbean’s largest property fund on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (“JSE”) (d) the reintroduction of the Caribbean’s largest general & life insurer to the JSE (e) the largest private debt raises in Jamaica’s history for Jamaica’s largest financial conglomerate. He has also led a number of large private debt transactions for both government, quasi-government and corporate clients including financial institutions.

Herbert is a thought leader and is frequently asked to share his knowledge on various topics including
(a) financing of water, wastewater and energy (b) private and public sector led infrastructure development and financing (c) regional capital markets development as well as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (“MSME”) funding.

He holds a BSc. in Economics & Management (Hons.) and a MSc. in Economics, both from the University of the West Indies as well as a MSc. in Finance from the University of Leicester. He is the Founder & Chief Investment Banking Consultant for Ambassador Capital Partners Limited, Founder & Executive Director for M.F.Foods Limited, Founder and Executive Director for Lions Investment N Group LLC (a St. Lucian IBC), an approved Mentor for companies listed or seeking to list on the JSE Junior Market, a member of the JSE’s Programme Trained Directors. Herbert also volunteers on the Jamaica Business Development Corporation’s Advisory Panel Board which offers business advisory and coaching services to MSMEs.

He is a Healthcare Thought Leader and has written over 30 articles in multiple healthcare and engineering publications. He is also a seasoned presenter and has presented nationally and internationally at several engineering conferences and seminars. His work has been recognized with several design honors, including the American ASHRAE Technology 1st Place Award for Healthcare Engineering design for several hospital designs.

As Chief Executive Officer of JMMB Investments and Securities, Tricia leads a team of professionals and has been consistent in delivering growth for the entities she leads.

Tricia holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Edinburgh Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from the University of the West Indies.

When Tricia is not busy developing and empowering her team and making plans for her clients’ financial well being, she spends time contributing to several organizations. She is director on the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SDATT) and Mutual Fund Association of Trinidad and Tobago (MFATT). Tricia is a member of the American Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago (AMCHAM T&T) Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee as well as Chair of the ESG Banking and Finance Sub-Committee.

Audrey Richards is a Consultant with the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) and has led the bank’s programme for the development of the ecosystem for private equity and venture capital in Jamaica, as well as several key projects aimed at promoting innovation and the development of the local early stage and entrepreneurship ecosystem.  Her current focus is expanding the bank’s role as anchor investor in private capital funds, as well as promoting the adoption of globally accepted best practices by stakeholders, advancement of initiatives aimed at legislative and regulatory reforms, and mobilizing private finance for climate resilience projects.

Mrs. Richards has held executive leadership positions in the Jamaican capital markets and has consulted for both private and public sector institutions, including the Inter-American Development Bank, Bank of Jamaica, Jamaica Stock Exchange, and the Financial Services Commission.  She currently serves as Director on the Boards of Scotia Group Jamaica Limited and BNS Jamaica Limited and is Chairman of the Boards of Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited and Scotia Jamaica Life Insurance Company Limited.  She also serves on the Boards of British Caribbean Insurance Company Limited, Caribbean Alternative Investment Association, and her alma mater, St. Andrew High School for Girls, and the St. Andrew High School Foundation.

Mrs. Richards is passionate about creating capital market solutions, organizational building, financial market policy development and implementation, and has led several market developmental initiatives for the Jamaican private and public sectors.  She now seeks to share the Jamaican experience with regional counterparts, recognizing the need for a dynamic and interlinked Caribbean alternative investments market.

Cumulatively, Ms. Walker’s experience spans sixteen years in the financial services industry, fourteen of which was spent in service to the NCB Financial Group in various leadership capacities. Prior to her employment at NCB, she worked as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan and an Economist at the Bank of Jamaica.

Currently, her role includes, inter alia, having strategic oversight of NCB Capital Markets and its subsidiaries, the development and launch of new products, services and channels, including the group’s digital transformation, as well as research and investment strategies for clients.

Ms. Walker has spearheaded the launch of NCBCM’s suite of unit trust funds, margin and secured loan facilities, online investment and GoIPO platforms and the acquisition and set up of the company’s subsidiaries in Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. She has also led the NCB Capital Markets’ Research team to numerous wins of the Jamaica Stock Exchange’s Annual Market Research Competition, with the most recent being in September 2022.

Ms. Walker holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and an M.Sc. in Economics (Distinction) from the University of the West Indies. Gerald (“Gerry”) Wight completed his MBA at Florida International University and has a Law Degree from the University of Wolverhampton. He began his professional career at Barnett Bank of South Florida in 1990 and later worked at Citibank Jamaica as a Relationship Manager. Subsequently, he held senior positions in corporate and investment banking with Jamaican and global institutions, including National Australia Bank, National Commercial Bank Jamaica, and CIBC. In 2011, he was a founding member of BCW Capital, an investment bank which was a member of the Jamaica Stock Exchange and transitioned in late 2014 to be a non-executive member of the Board.

Returning to NYC in 2015, Mr. Wight was an Executive with banks such as CFSB and CNB in the New York City area. He led the Caribbean expansion of a US bank focused on correspondent banking, trade finance and international payments. In 2017, Mr. Wight was a co-founder of a Haitian Private Equity Fund.

Gerald is currently Chairman of a real estate management company and Director of a rental car company and hospitality company, both with regional plans.
