Andrea Chisholm is a multi-award-winning Broadcast Journalist, television & radio producer at Television Jamaica, a member of the RJRGleaner Communications Group. The 2020 Chevening Scholar completed her Master of Science in Media & Communications Governance, with distinction, at the London School of Economics and Political Science, in England. Andrea has also worked at the BBC World Service in London, England. Her awards include a two-time Press Association of Jamaica Journalist of the Year & a two-time recipient of the Caribbean Broadcasting Union award for Best Investigative Report. She is a skilled communications strategist, project organiser, and upcoming media policy specialist with a jovial personality. Andrea is also proud alumni of the Northern Caribbean University, as well as the United Sates International Visitors Leadership Programme for outstanding young leaders. She has also worked at CVM Television and the Jamaica Information Service. She enjoys music, spending time with family and friends, as well as mentoring young people.

Nigel is a communication specialist whose practice spans both the public and private sectors. For more than fifteen years he served the financial sector working at Island Life Merchant Bank, Barita Investments Ltd., and CIBC First Caribbean International Securities Ltd (CIBCFCIB).

Coke currently serves as the Communication Director for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Jamaica. He is a member of the Church’s Executive Committee (Board), Administrative Committee (ADCOM), and its Finance and Investment Committee.

This results-driven, highly motivated professional is the Chairman of the NCU Media Group Advisory Board. He holds membership in the Press Association of Jamaica, the Society of Adventist Communicators in North America, and is the current Secretary-General of the National Religious Liberty Association (NRLA).

Twenty-five years ago he married the love of his life, Bobbette. They have remained happily married and are the parents of two young adult sons – Chad-Anthony and Ramoy.

Alwayne Cousins is the essence of perseverance. The JMMB family member who bears the title of Country Manager – Corporate Client Partnership – Jamaica, through his eye-on-the-ball tenacity, rose up the ranks to his current position, having begun as a client relations officer with the Group some 13 years ago. Alwayne would subsequently be promoted to Personal Portfolio Manager, with specific responsibilities to oversee the investment portfolios of the Company’s High Net Worth (HNW) Clients, provide them with financial planning services to meet their goals, and also act as a prospect for new businesses among HNW clients.

A graduate of the University of Technology with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and holding a Masters in Business Administration from Florida International University, Alwayne today manages JMMB Investments Corporate Solutions delivery towards the achievement of revenue, profit and market share targets. His winsome personality and fixity of purpose has seen him shine brightly in the role for the last six years.

A native son from the parish of Clarendon, Alwayne lauds his super-supportive beloved pair of his mother and late grandma for instilling within him a fierce will to succeed in life, and follows through with their lead by being a doting presence himself for his wife Alaine, their son and two daughters.

Garold Hamilton is a Senior Vice President and Healthcare Practice Lead at WSP, one of USA’s largest engineering and infrastructure firms. He is a licensed professional engineer in USA as well as in the Europe. He has over 26 years of experience in the design healthcare facilities in the USA, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. He has designed and constructed over 5 billion square feet of healthcare facilities globally. He is a Healthcare Thought Leader and written over 30 articles in multiple healthcare and engineering publications. He is also a seasoned presenter and has presented nationally and internationally at several engineering conferences and seminars. His work has been recognized with several design honors, including the American ASHRAE Technology 1st Place Award for Healthcare Engineering design for several hospital designs. In 2015 he was named 40 under 40 (best engineers in USA under 40) by the Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine for engineers who stands out in a variety of personal and professional aspects in their lives. He has a passion for real estate investments and is a director and partner for Real Equity Ltd and is an owner of Hamilton Estates Residential Ltd.

Terise Kettle joined Barita Investments Limited in March 2020 in the capacity of Vice President, Investment Banking. Since joining the Barita Investments Limited team, Terise has led several capital markets transactions with the most notable ones being the Barita Investments Limited and Derrimon Trading Company Limited’s APO and more recently the pending Massy Holdings Limited Cross Listing on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).

Terise has over fourteen (14) years of experience in banking (retail, corporate and investment banking) with her most recent prior to joining Barita Investments Limited being the role of Assistant Vice President – Corporate Banking at Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited. During her tenure at Sagicor, she led several syndicated transactions including the largest syndicated transaction in Jamaica in 2017. She started her career as an external auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Kettle holds an MBA (Distinction) specialising in Banking and Finance from the University of the West Indies, Mona School of Business and Management and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Management Studies and Accounting.

Ms. Kettle has also completed several post graduate certification programmes including Project Management, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Management, and Complex Accounting for Corporations.

Javaughn Keyes is the Business Reporter/Producer for Television and Radio Jamaica and a recipient of the Prime Minister’s Youth Award for Excellence in Journalism (2020). He joined the TVJ/RJR newsroom in May 2019, and since then he has been designated to carryout numerous responsibilities apart from his core duties of writing and producing stories for TVJ’s “Prime Time News”and it’s business components, and the business packages on Radio Jamaica; the Financial Report and the Business Round-up. Javaughn is also the producer and host of the business discussion programme “The Exchange”.

Before going to the RJRGLEANER Group, Javaughn worked as a Business News Reporter/Producer and Presenter at Business Access TV from 2017.

He also works in sports as one of the handful of Track and Field Announcers across the island.

Outside of communication, he has served in a number of leadership and voluntary capacities to include Youth Representative on the National Agenda 2030 (SDGs) Oversight Committee and a Youth Parliamentarian. Javaughn left St. Jago High as head boy in 2017, and in the same year, he received the Governor General’s Achievement Award for Excellence in Leadership and Academics. He also received the Jamaica Government Exhibition scholarship in 2017, to pursue his studies in Integrated Marketing Communication at the UWI Mona Campus (CARIMAC).

Damien King is the Executive Director of the Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CAPRI), a public policy think tank, and formerly a lecturer in Economics at the University of the West Indies. He has written, supervised, and published academic work and policy papers in the areas of sovereign debt, economic modeling, international trade, and financial inclusion, amongst others.

Damien is the author and editor (with David Tennant) of Debt and Development in Small Island Developing States, (Palgrave, New York). He earned his B.A. from York University, Canada, an M.Sc. from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, and a Ph.D. from New York University, USA. Damien serves on corporate boards in the public and private sector. Recreational activities include watching cricket, hiking, and reading.

Ms Trevene McKenzie provides leadership and oversight for Dolla’s financial management, strategic planning, reporting, forecasting and analysis. She has developed a passion for accounting through several years of experience where she has worked in various industries such as banking and finance, BPO, public sector and most recently telecommunications with Digicel Group where she was appointed Technical Financial Controller in 2019 and most recently in 2021, Head of Finance for Technical and Networks. She has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Economics with the University of Technology, Jamaica, has a Certificate in Forensic Accounting, successfully passed all CPA exams with the Alaska State Board of Accountancy, is a member of the American Institute.

Tricia Nicholas is the Governance and Compliance Manager of Dolla Financial Services Limited. She manages and maintains the Corporate Governance, Compliance, and Paralegal activities of the Company. As a part of the Company’s Executive Team, Tricia works closely with the Board and Senior Management to facilitate strategic growth, good governance, controls, and compliance. She has over 17 years of legal professional experience in Governance & Corporate law and over 8 years in Commercial & Litigation law. She also acts as the Nominated Officer and is the Recording Secretary for the Company and its subsidiaries.

In addition, Tricia holds experience in Administration, Human Resources, and Office Management. She previously worked as the Legal Assistant & Team Leader for the law firm, Nicholson Phillips. She was the Company Secretary for the charitable organization, BACK2LIFE Foundation.

Tricia is a certified Practitioner – Risk & Compliance and an Associate Member of the International Compliance Association. She is an Associate Member and holds a Level 5 – International UK Diploma in Business Management with The Association of Business Executives as she pursues her LLB with the University of London.

With over a decade of experience in financial markets, Raul brings both local and global perspectives to the merger &acquisition, financial asset trading and general investment banking space.  A value investor at heart, Raul is willing to be bold when others are fearful.  Possessing diverse interest in networking, financial analysis and history Raul is a dealmaker’s dealmaker, always seeking to deliver terms that add value to all parties involved. Raul Pinnock is currently the Manager of Investor Relations and Investment Banking at Barita Investments Limited.

Carol Robertson is a results-driven professional with over 35 years of experience in Jamaica’s technology industry. During this time, she facilitated the sale of the first managed services contract in Jamaica with the then Ritz Carlton Hotel and has led the movement of payroll and general ledger systems from manual to computerized environments at several corporate entities.

In her current role as Director – Government, Enterprise and IT Solutions at C&W Business Jamaica, she is responsible for enabling the technological development of Government and Enterprise organizations.

Robertson’s mission is to transform the Jamaican IT space with innovation using a consultative and strategic premier sales force. To this end, she developed and implemented the Customer Executive Exchange Program (CEE) and IT sales processes that are utilized by sales professionals across the region. Before joining C&W Business, she worked at Columbus Communications, Fujitsu Caribbean (Jamaica) Limited, Infotech Caribbean (Jamaica) Limited and Xerox Jamaica Limited.

Carol is an ordained Minister of Religion and the founder of the “Red Shoe Mission”, a mentorship programme that supports young women between the ages of 15 and 25 years. She is a Director of the Caribbean’s first Aviation College and Chairman of the Board of the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf. Robertson is also a certified sign language interpreter.

Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Tampa which has been included on Forbes’ annual ranking of America’s Top Colleges. His academic achievements are paired with many years of professional experience within Jamaica’s financial sector. His experience has seen him hold the positions of Executive Wealth Advisor at NCB Capital Markets as well as Stocks and Securities Limited working in both the capacity of Securities Trader and later promoted to Head of Commercial.

Through these positions and subsequent exposure, Mr. Smith has managed several accounts in excess of US$100 million and has been successful in raising over J$1 billion for two IPOs within the Jamaican Stock Market.

Mr. Smith will support the firm in identifying local and regional investment opportunities in multiple sectors, as well as supporting Dequity Capital portfolio companies and their leadership teams in executing their operational and strategic growth.

He has led various teams in both marketing and sales leading to significant gain for the companies he worked with. His exemplary knowledge, leadership skills, and commitment to success have led to him being awarded the Customer Service Award from the Jamaica Stock Exchange for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. With years of leadership experience, Mr. Smith is a world-class executive with deep sector expertise, multicultural experience, and an extensive.

Tracy-Ann Spence is the Chief Operating Officer at NCB Capital Markets Limited, which is the Wealth Management, Asset Management and Investment Banking arm of the NCB Financial Group; Jamaica’s largest and most profitable financial institution. As the Chief Operating Officer at NCB Capital Markets, she has responsibility for the Jamaican operations and has strategic oversight of Wealth Management, Asset Management, Investments and Trading.

She has been employed to the NCB Financial Group for over 19 years and counts a BSc in Applied Mathematics from York University in Toronto, an MBA in Banking and Finance (with distinction) from the University of the West Indies and Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification from the Project Management Institute among her educational achievements. She also completed the “Director’s Strategic Guide to Corporate Governance and Leadership” offered by the Jamaica Stock Exchange. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration from the Mona School of Business and Management.

She is an avid supporter of life-enhancing opportunities for young people and values her role as a mentor to young adults. She has been a mentor in the Youth Upliftment Through Employment programme and has taught adult literacy with the Adult Learning Centre and Jamaica Foundation for Lifelong Learning.

She enjoys imparting her knowledge and was able to do this through her position as an adjunct lecturer at the Mona School of Business & Management, University of the West Indies, where she lectured in Financial Management in the MBA and EMBA programmes. She has also taught at NCB’s Corporate Learning Campus in areas such as Portfolio and Investment Management.

Tracy-Ann currently sits on the boards of the Jamaica Association for the Deaf, tTech Limited, Mailpac Group Limited, NCB Foundation and SiFi Studios Limited. She also represents her company in various associations such as: The Primary Dealers’ Association, First Angels Jamaica, and the Branson Centre for the Caribbean.

Stacy-Ann Tait spearheads the development of the company’s business strategy for its proprietary investment portfolios while leading the Trading & Portfolio Management Teams. She has over 14 years’ experience in the financial services industry, which includes experience in portfolio management, risk management and corporate finance. Stacy-Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking & Finance from the University of The West Indies and is a CFA Charter Holder. She also serves on the Board of Directors of CFA Society Jamaica.

Annya Walker holds the position of Vice President— Strategy Research Innovation & Projects at NCB Capital Markets Limited.

Cumulatively, Ms. Walker’s experience spans sixteen years in the financial services industry, fourteen of which was spent in service to the NCB Financial Group in various leadership capacities. Prior to her employment at NCB, she worked as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan and an Economist at the Bank of Jamaica.

Currently, her role includes, inter alia, having strategic oversight of NCB Capital Markets and its subsidiaries, the development and launch of new products, services and channels, including the group’s digital transformation, as well as research and investment strategies for clients.

Ms. Walker has spearheaded the launch of NCBCM’s suite of unit trust funds, margin and secured loan facilities, online investment and GoIPO platforms and the acquisition and set up of company’s subsidiaries in Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. She has also led the NCB Capital Markets’ Research team to numerous wins of the Jamaica Stock Exchange’s Annual Market Research Competition, with the most recent being in September 2022.

Ms. Walker holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and an M.Sc. in Economics (Distinction) from the University of the West Indies. She has also participated in executive development courses at The Wharton School and Chicago Boothe School of Business in strategy, leadership, communication and digital marketing and analytics.

Gerald (“Gerry”) Wight completed his MBA at Florida International University and has a Law Degree from the University of Wolverhampton. He began his professional career at Barnett Bank of South Florida in 1990 and later worked at Citibank Jamaica as a Relationship Manager. Subsequently, he held senior positions in corporate and investment banking with Jamaican and global institutions, including National Australia Bank, National Commercial Bank Jamaica, and CIBC. In 2011, he was a founding member of BCW Capital, an investment bank which was a member of the Jamaica Stock Exchange and transitioned in late 2014 to be a non-executive member of the Board.

Returning to NYC in 2015, Mr. Wight was an Executive with banks such as CFSB and CNB in the New York City area. He led the Caribbean expansion of a US bank focused on correspondent banking, trade finance and international payments. In 2017, Mr. Wight was a co-founder of a Haitian Private Equity Fund.

Gerald is currently Chairman of a real estate management company and Director of a rental car company and hospitality company, both with regional plans. Despite the COVID pandemic, his current projects have delivered high double digit USD returns. He plans to execute a series of capital markets transactions and partnerships in 2023 and 2024.

Leo Williams is the Managing Director of this private equity fund launched in 2021 for the Caricom region.Mr. Williams is a seasoned investment professional with 25 years of experience in Investment and Business Consulting in the Caribbean and in the USA.

Prior to joining SEAF, he founded Williams & Associates Investments, an investment advisory firm focused on raising capital for firms in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean region. He is a former executive and International Business Development Manager of Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited (JMMB), integral in the establishment of JMMB in the Dominican Republic a and a former Director of the Jamaican Stock Exchange.

Mr. Williams has also led several divisions within General Electric USA and Spain and was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Fluent in Spanish and is studied in his knowledge of Latin America and the Caribbean region. Mr. Williams has assisted companies to launch and grow globally, including into non-English speaking markets.

He holds a BSc. in Engineering from Princeton University, an MSc. in Engineering, MA in International Studies and an MBA from Wharton School of Business all from the University of Pennsylvania.

Luwanna Williams is Acting President and CEO for PROVEN Wealth Jamaica. She is charged with the development and execution of revenue generating strategies for Proven Wealth Jamaica. She is committed to delivering on the Company’s mission of providing sound investment advice and best-in-class service to its clients, while achieving superior value for all stakeholders.

Luwanna brings over 16 years’ experience in the local financial sector spanning the areas of Investment Banking, Financial Regulation and Financial Risk Management. Throughout her career in Corporate Finance, she has assisted companies in the public and private sectors to raise over J$36 billion in capital through the local and regional debt and equity markets. Luwanna has had a stellar career in the local finance sector having worked with JN Fund Managers Limited, Jamaica National Building Society and the Bank of Jamaica.

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance, along with a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance (Special) from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

Richardo is a creative systems and analytical thinker who has significant experience in applying economic research and financial analysis towards solving tough policy and business problems.

Angus P. Young joined the NCB Financial Group (‘NCBFG’) in 2014 as Chief Executive Officer of NCB Merchant Bank (Trinidad and Tobago) Ltd. In 2018, Angus was also appointed Regional Head of Investment Banking at NCB Capital Markets Ltd and maintained dual roles until his appointment as Head – Regional Investment Banking & New Markets at NCB Capital Markets Ltd. on July 1, 2022.

Angus is a Director of NCB Merchant Bank (Trinidad and Tobago) Ltd., NCB Capital Markets (Barbados) Ltd. And NCB Capital Markets (Guyana) Inc. Prior to joining the NCBFG, Angus served as the Managing Director of BDO Financial Advisory Services Ltd., which represented BDO’s corporate finance and transaction advisory interest in Trinidad & Tobago.

Before joining BDO, Angus was Vice President of Business Development at First Global (Trinidad & Tobago) Ltd. where he was charged with the responsibility of Corporate Finance & Capital Market origination in T&T and Jamaica. Prior to FGTT, Angus spent four years at RBTT Merchant Bank Ltd. in leadership roles including Assistant Vice President and Regional Manager of Capital Market Origination where he covered the OECS territories and Guyana. Angus is a Director of the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad & Tobago.
Angus holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Administrative & Commercial Studies (Financial & Economic Studies) from the University of Western Ontario and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University, School of Business and Economics, Ontario.

Fornia Young is the Country Retail General Manager at Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB); a job she has held since 2021 when she was promoted from the general manager of client partnership after nine years of leading sales and client experience within the retail branches. Prior to this appointment, she held the position of branch manager of JMMB Investments at Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston, where she steered the branch’s team to achieve revenue growth each year.

In her role, she is responsible for developing strategies, structures, processes, and policies to consistently improve JMMB’s growth and client experience. Her ability to lead and direct her team has reaped great rewards for the JMMB Group. Over the years, she has managed to coordinate her teams to deliver on the organizational goals and objectives of JMMB by coaching and inspiring the team to consistently pursue and achieve excellence.

A marketing extraordinaire, she was drawn to banking and finance after starting her Master’s degree in marketing. Fornia had found her first love and quickly switched her major to banking and finance to start her new journey. Fornia holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation from the CFA Institute, a Master’s in Business Administration (majoring in Banking and Finance) from the Mona School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in management studies from Nova Southern University. Prior to joining JMMB, she was employed by DB&G, now Scotia Investments; Capital & Credit Securities Limited as a senior account executive and also served in marketing and public relations roles at Restaurants of Jamaica, Jamaica Tourist Board, and NEM Insurance.
